That feeling when you waste 2 minutes of your life staring at a picture of Bran only to realize its not a gif :dead:

I was dead ass waiting for a bird to fly or a snowflake to fall, something.
That's ok. Bran wants someone else to stare at him too. It gets lonely creeping on people :mjlit:

He had to go through Sansa to do it though. Him rolling up on Winterfell and killing the Boltons on his own wasn't going to accomplish shyt. The North would have never backed him. And after killing the Boltons he still had to coerce Sansa into marrying him, which did not happen. And now he is dead. If that isn't a win for Sansa then who gets the win?

No one is saying Sansa didn't get a win, she killed Littlefinger. That's a win. But that's not what my point or original reply was to.

As far as the Boltons, Littlefinger had to still be seen as friend of the crown. Which is to say he couldn't openly support Sansa in the North. This is why he setup the deal with Roose Bolton to side with Tywin so Littlefinger had someone he could support in the North and not seem a traitor to Tywin/Cersei. Hence the Red Wedding. Once that happened, Littlefinger left for the Vale with Sansa, married her to his ally in the North, the Boltons, allowing him to still seem a friend to the crown but secretly plotting to take the North from the Tywin/Cersei. Him working with Roose now seems necessary to the crown instead of betraying it. He USED the Boltons and installed them in Winterfell as a place holder until he could operate freely because he had not yet secured himself as Lord of the Vale. Once he did, the table was set. He was going to kill the Boltons. Using his relationship with Cat, Robyn and saving Sansa was what he was banking on for Northern support. He didn't need to marry Sansa to have their support for anything anymore until Jon was named King in the North.

I get the set up, I'm not arguing against that, but his plan ultimately failed because of Sansa. And LittleFinger isn't a Northerner, they would have never supported him as Warden of the North alone, which is why he needed Sansa. Roose was able to be put in place because he was a Northerner.

But the difference is Aemon knew he was a Targaryian when he joined the Citadel and turned down being King when it was offered to him. Jon joined not knowing. To find out after he'd already renounced his claims would have been shytty. He would have been pissed at Ned:mjlol:
He might've been upset at first, but logic would've put that anger to rest.

He would've been killed as a baby if Ned didn't hold that secret, and if at any point in his life that news came out Robert would've had him marked and dealt with. Robert tried to kill Daeny when she was half a world away and just a child with no dragons simply because she was a Targ, he would've torn Winterfell upside down once he found out another Targ was alive.

Sacrifice means willingly giving up something

She aint willingly give up her dragon to save anyone :mjlol: , the night king just showed her that her and her dragons aint shyt :ld:

if anything her cockiness and Jon Snows arrogance to be the hero got her dragon killed by not respecting the night king and his army
Dany went on a “Test My Gangsta

My prediction for next week and beyond is the night king is getting murked in episode 2 or 3. Jon is 2 for 2 against white walkers and looking like he’s a HOF swordsman these days. Dany will probably lose most of her army and probably another dragon trying to deal with Viserion. The north is gonna get all the way fukked up too. They setup the fact that there’s gonna be a lot of in fighting after that so everyone is going to be divided.

Then they will turn around and the Golden Company, Lannister army and Iron Islands will be there waiting to run that fade.

I expect Cersei to have like 20 scorpions this time so Dany better not bring a dragon to that fight. From what I read about the golden company they are basically impossible to beat so it’s gonna be a slaughter. Cersei will be back in power and it will take something like Jamie killing her to end this shyt. :francis:

Exactly. I mean Ned would have had to forge an army big enough to go up against the Baratheons/Lannisters if he wanted Jon to take the throne, while also putting Lyanna's dirt out there. He wouldnt have had any help from Cat either.

This was really the only way for the Snowman. He is better because of the Nightswatch and having to run shop over there.

They've had 2 years to develop this final season. If the dialogue from the first episode is a sign of what's to come, this will not go well. A lot of it was pure fan service...not much different than season 7. That scene with Jon and Daenerys going "A Whole New World" on those dragons was a waste of footage and budget, as was most of Arya's scenes. Sansa is suddenly "smart"?? She sent Ned Umber to his death knowing the dead had crossed the wall and would likely hit the Last Hearth first! Could've sent ravens like Jon instructed the Maester to do for the Night's Watch! Daenerys has seen the threat, but is still on that "bend the knee. I'm the Queen" bullsh*t?? 'No dikk' saves his sister from Euron's fleet with no blow-back?? Damn, I hope episode 2 is tighter than this.

Liked the Jaime and Professor B stare down and Sam Tarly's emotion after hearing his Dad and Brother were burned alive was tremendous. Best acting of the episode.

Except she can’t see 2 feet in front of her face. There is a literal dead army marching through the north and she on some

“O I don’t like Dany, you see the way she looked at me”

:gurl:
yall really oversimplifying this, almost everyone has suspicions about dany, it's not on some hate shyt, it's clearly implying that she's ultimately unworthy/unfit to be ruler, she'll be like all the other fukkbois (and current fukkgirl) to have sat on the throne for the past few generations. pair that with her vision in the house of the undying, #targset picked the wrong person to put their faith in, she's up outta here :banderas:
