Episode was pretty good by recent season’s standards. Unfortunately the writing has fallen off a cliff and is never going to return to its former quality so a number of scenes just fall flat. Thankfully the sense of spectacle in the show is incredible.

Also this Bran being everywhere watching people was painful.

Sansa is now smarter, and still learning, but she's not a strategist. But she is a leader and is trying to show the importance of alliances, especially in the North. That's what she's learned from the Lannisters, Boltons, Lady Olena, her parents...that's what she's trying to get through to Jon. He doesn't care about any of that, and he really gets by on his honor - the same thing that got Ned killed. Ironically, it's also the same thing that Tyrion is trying to get through to Dany. Everything she says is really about survival of the North, because once again...no one gives AF about the White Walkers. I think what Arya & Sansa are trying to get through to Jon is that they're all they've got. Jon was never alone like them.

He was alone with the wildlings. :manny:

This.

There's GoT that relied on the books which is amazing show, competing on GOAT levels.

Then there's GoT that went beyond the books and George RR's vision, this is an entertaining show with some piff episodes in between.

OK I GUESS YOURE NOT TROLLING
YOU REALLY ARE SLOW.

I NEVER SAID NOR IMPLIED THAT WAS WHY JON BENT THE KNEE.

I SAID ITS A GOOD THING HE DID
BECAUSE THESE DUMB fukkS WOULD HAVE GOTTEN BURNED TOO.

We're talking about why he bent the knee and why he lied about why he bent the knee. FOH with your lame ass, irrelevant ass, inaccurate ass conjecture.

Jon bending the knee on wounded a ship after capturing a wight didn't save a single person from being burned. Jon bending the knee at that moment didn't gain a single new alliance or garner any extra help for the great war. Jon bending the knee on that ship DID get him closer to getting in dragon guts. Jon bending the knee at that time DID cause discord amongst the northerners at a time when they could least afford dissension amongst the ranks.

Y'all trying desperately to sweep these facts under the rug, smh

Calling a nikka by the name his parents gave him has never been weird. Marriage doesn't make him king in anything but title alone. The Targaryen's had female rulers before. Marriage simply makes Aegon Dany's husband. She would still be the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.

Ol his mamma named him Clay, I'mma call him Clay ass nikka

At the end of the day none of Danys army is from Westeros and I doubt they give a fukk about who’s the rightful ruler of the seven kingdoms

Dany is their queen and they’ll follow her unless she instructs them to do otherwise

Personally I don’t give a fukk about any of this shyt anymore

All this dumb shyt should’ve been handled in previous seasons.I only care about the war vs the White Walkers now

I don’t know why but i have a feeling they’ll defeat the Walkers in the next couple episodes, then they’ll spend the final 2-3 episodes fighting over the throne :snoop:

Watch, they gonna have somebody like Sansa come out on top :beli:

These shows love pandering to women nowadays

question....does dany know the full story of her father the mad king?

Someone has confronted her on it before. I think it was the Snowman. He told her he was a pyromaniac psycho that burned starks and she pretty much she said well i'm not my father, so i think she knows he wasnt such a great king towards the end and wasnt really liked but i dont think she knows about his visions and the caches of wildfire hidden underneath kings landing and the plan to burn them all.
