They didn't refuse to surrender, they refused to bend the knee.

That's a significant distinction. The war was not won at that point, hell it's still not won. They shouldn't have been expected to become turncoats simply cuz they lost a battle. The standard operating procedure is to hold them as prisoners of war. This bytch burnt them alive...may as well flayed them. Think back to season 2 when the honorable King Robb was racking up more prisoners than he could handle yet he always refused to mistreat them and refused to not feed them despite the strain it put on his resources. Y'all sounding like a bunch of Roose Bolton's defending Dany here :scust:

shyt like this is why Jon will always be #StarkSet #WolfGang. He doesn't subscribe to those crazed #TargSet ideals. Sam pointed this out last episode.

True. He refused to kill Jaime too despite calls from every person in his camp to do so too.

Is he hands down the worst character on the show? :skip:

Why was he even included? Just so Ramsay would seem like more of a monster? :dahell:

:mjcry:

Shaggy dog story

"In its original sense, a shaggy dog story or yarn is an extremely long-winded anecdote characterized by extensive narration of typically irrelevant incidents and terminated by an anticlimax or a pointless punchline."

:dahell:IF DANY DOESNT SHOW UP
WITH HER ARMIES AND DRAGONS
THEY ALL DIE.

THEY SHOULD fukk WITH HER OFF THE STRENGTH OF THAT ALONE.

You're bringing up how they SHOULD act. I'm talking about how they're being written. the writing is showing that northerners put pride and principle above all. They have their ways, and even the end of the world won't change that. It's being made clear right now.

You targset heathens advocating burning people alive but wanna shyt on #stannisset

:mjzooted:

You gotta be dense if you think there is any type if real correlation between the two.

Stannis burnt an INNOCENT CHILD. That happened to be his DAUGHTER. It didn’t help him in the slightest and he’s a kin slayer.

Dany burnt two ENEMIES OF BATTLE. Who REFUSED to bend the knee after two opportunities to do so. After she roasted them fools everyone else bent that knee with the promptness. So not only did she execute two enemies, her showing of power gained her another army

I don't think so. I think someone on here said he was a Targaryean. What did you read on him?

Fax.

Obviously what he did to Shireen was too far and despicable, but they were giving Stannis shyt for burning the lords on Dragonstone who refused to submit to Stannis' new red way. Now they acting like death by fire is perfectly reasonable for the disobedient.

Am I the only one thinking Cersei is the one using Euron right now? Yeah, he got to hit, but she's pregnant with Jaime's baby and nobody knows. She's just put out a hit on Tyrion and Jaime... if she wins out, she now gets to marry Euron and claim him as father of her baby, making it a legitimate heir (and a pure Lannister one as known only to her) rather than a fatherless b*stard born of incest. She's smarter than people are giving her credit for, I think.

Yep that's exactly what she is plotting. She's got Euron's dumbass wrapped around her finger now, lol. Chess not checkers, Greyjoy. Will he figure out the math though, is the question. As I'm not sure how long she's already been pregnant.

:dahell:

A few questions for yall.. why in the world would Cersei want to marry Euron? She's using him for his ships. All signs point to her disposing of him after that. Also, when would the show have time to show any of this? :mjlol: It's probably one of the plotlines with the lowest hierarchy right now. Like I said, if the war ends, Cersi survives, and they focus on this dumb ass unborn child I'd be severely disappointed with the writers.

Stannis felt he had to make a sacrifice for the greater good...something that Azor Ahai was said to have done by plunging his sword into the love of his life.

Either way dany didn't have to burn them..she could've easily just hung or beheaded them.

I don't think so. I think someone on here said he was a Targaryean. What did you read on him?

yeah, hes a Targ. he was the Hand of the King for two Kings, then Lord Commander of the Nights Watch .. always heavy into magic/warging .. dude has a wild history

it gives me a new perspective on things too - I now believe he planted the 'burm them all' into the Mad King ala Bran planting 'hold the door' into Hodor ... which changes my thoughts on how things will now play out

if you look back at Danys visions at the House of the Undying, the Red Keep is covered in snow and nearly demolished

Im expecting the NK to make a swerve and attack KL, and then he gets a million new wights? Goddamn

Im thinking the visions 3ER planted in the Mad King forced him to create all the wild fire in KL too, to combat whats coming

We'll see.
