Because we all know it will be he worst episode of the season. Will be just another build up to a war. Episode with the battle for the throne will be the episode of the season probably.

The standard when out the window he around season 4 when they started deviating from the books. Why everybody whining about this shyt now with 3 episodes left is beyond me.
If you want high quality ass writing you better hurry up and wait for them books to come out.

People have been complaining since S4, I'm confused what you're
here. We WANT this show to be good because even S4-S7 have had piff moments. The Battle of Winterfell seemed like a layup to redeem themselves and it was the sloppiest fight since that Dorne bullshyt.
We also had Battle of the b*stards in the meantime, so it didn't even reach the standard that the newer seasons put up.

Season 5 was a CHORE. Having hardhome as a saving grace doesn’t change that. At least Season 8 is gonna go out being cool. It might not make sense but it won’t be a totally forgettable mess eitherThat ain't the whole story tho.
The show wasn't running completely independent of book material until season 7, which is when the real complaining started
The threads tell the tale. It wasn't until season 7 and now where nikkas was likeat how far the writing had degenerated
Season 5 was a step down, but still wasn't as bad as these last two. And 5 had Hardhome, which goes a long way towards it's rating

I think the theory that the NK could turn Arya/Bran theory works in two ways:
1. the directors did say there was gonna be an ending that was bittersweet...I know nobody likes them rn, but the hero of the world becoming a WW...that'd be bittersweet. (she also could kill Cersei and complete the prophecy, but as an undead)
2. seeing as how they have a multitude of spears now, there's probably a good chance they stick at least one of the dragons, and other than dragons, this should be a quick sweep for Cersei. maybe Bran turning into the NK conveniently and reviving the dead against the larger KL's army ends up helping them more than harming?
Whatever it is, I definitely dont think the ending is gonna come down to Cersei winning

Dany was looking way too smug in next episode's preview. The last time I saw a nikka looking that smug, his pregnant wife ended up getting stabbed 3 times in the belly and had his own crew ambushed.
