Showing she had no empathy at other points in the series doesn’t really change it was poorly executed here.

people using Dany being a Targaryen for justification for how they wrote her like Aegon didn't show mercy to his enemies. They weren't all crazy you sons of bytches!

Jon is a stark, and will likely claim his stark heritage even when he has to gut her for the throne

Now that the Red Keep has collapsed, there's only like four characters who have been in it and are still alive: Sansa, Arya, Tyrion and Bronn

Dany's doing something fukked up was foreshadowed, Dany turning into ISIS with a dragon instead of a truck was not. People entering the Red Keep's courtyard and being killed as collateral damage was the fear of Tyrion and Cersei's hope of keeping Dany at bay. Even the way the episode was directed suggested that was about to be what was going to happen but then she started burning the men, women, and children 80 city blocks away because subverting expectations is the new hot shyt.

But what did she do that was wrong?
