I think people who felt that the season just start was because they watched 4 episodes leaked before the opening season day. That's the problem and and I'm so glad that I didn't watch the leaked episoes on that day.

valyrian steel is forged in dragon fire, obsidian is also created by dragon fire, both kill white walkers

I dont see any other way they defeat the Walkers

season 6 the quest for them to meet up

season 7 the fight between living and dead
