If any women want to really get into competitive gaming let me know. I don't mind helping out.... I extend this hand because I don't think there are enough women that game competitively that do it for the love and passion

I mostly play fighters and DOTA 2, me and my sister play DOTA 2 regularly and she's really legit at it.

Ha, I hear ya, mine isn't the best admittedly, but if you play smart it carries alot of water!

Playing fighters online is a hard judge of skill, its simultaneously the worst and the best place to learn how to play. When you combine the lag, scrubby mentality of people and the randomness of new players... it can be a headache.

But if you can win matches online, you can pretty much play competitively if you drop the bad habits that you WILL develop playing online.


@cloudbox I forgot to hit you up, I don't know if you want some general tips or to link up in a lobby one day or what. I feel like you would play dota2 well for some reason haha.


@MarsPunka and @cloudbox if you can get a hold of Guilty gear xrd ( I know yall like anime so this fits right up that ally) it has a great tutorial mode that explains alot of basic's when it comes to fighters over all. You can carry alot of what you learn there into all fighters.

ha, DOA is probably the fighter I play the least. While your typical fighter basic carry over to the game the engine plays pretty differently with the counters. I guess the iggest tip i could get you is to delay or stagger your hits and combo's and don't try and counter out of everything when you start getting hit.

and more zomg!!!! we finally got a new black female fighter y'all!!!! (Jax's briggs daughter Jacqui)

-calms down- Okay, sorry guys...i got more than excited when I heard we was goning to have another black fighter to the MK series...I also wonder...who in the hell had Jax fukked? april the 14th couldn't get here fast enough T.T

I would love to do this, but I'm afraid the time commitment to get really good would mess up other things I got going on

I totally understand, it is definitely a real commitment if your trying to be really good. Depending on how good you are naturally and how addictive your personality is. If you ever just want to mess around here and there online feel free to hit me up. I'll be in the lab with Mortal Kombat X most of this week since it just dropped today. But I'm down to play and go through whatever.
