Episode 5 might be the best hour of television made in a long time even though it makes no goddamn sense. Gareth Evans a monster and a fool with the action.

Every ep has a showstopping brutally violent action scene that makes it all worth it.
I'm discouraged that it's going to be on Cinemax stateside. that's HBO's dumping ground. Which is pathetic that they don't even have a roku app or support chromecast to this day.
Though maybe it'll be different with the upcoming HBOMax. but shows like Quarry got lost because HBO doesn't give a shyt about cinemax for cord cutters.

Just finished watching the whole series.
This is the best action drama series on the British underworld, I don't care what anyone says. It does lose some points for that
scene in episode 2 though. 
Wasn't necessary AT ALL. Had to hit the forward button on my Sky remote.
I like that it had intelligent, respected black gangsters at the top of the food chain too. I like Top Boy but fukk still being on the corner in your mid 30s and up. This shyt is like Raid 2, but with a much more intricate storyline. Elliot was pretty much the black version of Rama from the Raid movies.
Alexander is what Stringer Bell wishes he could be in his wildest dreams. Sean did his thing as the loose cannon son. I just knew he was gonna smash that broad, I could see it coming.
Finn was a real scumbag.
The violence was
levels like you'd expect from Gareth Evans. I love the unique choreography of violent scenes in his flicks. I didn't fully understand episode 5, but that was one of the best episodes. They really spazzed out heavy on that one.
The female characters were about that life and just as brutal as the men. That mercenary broad held up til the end even when most people in her position would have folded.
Even Shannon got 
at the end.
That cop overplayed her hand with the wrong person and thought it was gonna be one way.
That shyt was unintentionally funny.
You thought you saw powerful people until the last episode.
So many other points I could make, but I need a season 2 like yesterday.
