I never understood why the community isnt bigger

it was big during first Gears of War but they changed too much shyt in Gears 2...took all of the fun out the game

in that first clip you posted it looks like they changed things back though

nikka gears 2 was nearly un fukkin playable i dunno how nikkas lasted 3 years playin on line if u werent host shyt was a chore yall nikkas talkin stupid RN

That other bum digger gun was trash also, in games like gears and halo all players should start the game off evenly matched wit the same guns, once u throw in a bunch of different gun u start losing skill to your game and it becomes random, and that when your fan base leaves that shyt in the bushes after a month or 2

Those guns should have been map pick ups that u had to fight for(like boom shot, or flame thrower) to get instead guns u start to spawn wit

Main thing I remember in verses is a bunch of people randomly rolling around shotgunning and sticky grenading each other to pieces making long range weapons useless outside of that explosive bow and arrow and sometimes the sniper.

PVP multiplayer was overrated as hell. Horde mode was the best thing to come out of Gears.

no multiplayer got me hyped like gears 2. I remember I was the last man on my team...1 vs 5. they ambushed me and I killed each one in a matter of 10 seconds firing from the hip with the shotty. we proceeded to get stomped out every round after that cause my team was ass but that memory will always live with me.

The best times I had on Xbox Live during the 360 era was playing Gears of War 1. We strictly played private games 5v5 then afterwards would head into Uno or Texas Hold'em Poker.

There was also nothing better than doing a sliding sniper pick up and getting a headshot afterwards.

The digger wasn't a loadout weapon. That was a pickup item.

The only starting weapons in Gears 3 was:

Rifles:Lancer, Retro Lancer and Hammerburst
Pistols:Snub nose pistol
Shotguns:Gnasher, Sawed off
Smoke Grenades

Everything else was a map weapon. The satisfaction of landing a kill with that torque bow .

The retro lancer?? That shyt was good for close range only since the recoil on that gun was huge. I only used it on more smaller maps with choke points like Checkout.
