Obama won because Bush was leaving office with 2 unpopular wars, a historic low 22% approval rating, an economy that just crashed and a housing crisis. Bush ruined the entire GOP in 2008. If Hillary Clinton won the primary she would have beaten McCain in a landslide as well.

Under normal circumstances Obama most likely would have lost to McCain. Warnock isn't winning on the national level under any regular circumstances. Because white america will never do the right thing unless they feel their own security is threatened. (Which is why Obama won in a landslide in 08)

Obama won because of historic Black turnout.

Warnock will get the same and carry Georgia with him.

when all is said and done, the only 2020 senate race that will go the other way from the presidential one was Maine

we're a long way away from North Dakota, Montana, Indiana, Missouri and West Virginia all electing Dems in 2012

At this point the Dems are really becoming a coastal/water party

Except for Mississippi, Alabama, and SC. They will be able to play on the coast, the Great Lakes, Louisiana and Texas.

The inner part of the country is dead set on keeping these Republicans in power.
