Immigration is what's killing the Democrats with Hispanic voters in Texas. Mexicans who migrated to the US legally absolutely despise illegal immigrants. The same can really be said about all nationalities who migrate to the US. The Democrats give a path to citizenship much easier to illegals than those who checked all the boxes legally

almost feels like repubs snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in this one. they lost presidential election because middle of the pack republicans don't rock with pres chump anymore. those voters sat out or only voted down ballot. in the senate runoff the gop doubled down and pledged allegiance to the crazy instead of moving back to the middle. the infighting was hilarious plus they had no policy message.

that said, the dems did everything right in ga. registration drives and getting out the vote was impressive. since repubs can't gerrymander statewide that leveled the game and black folks were the real mvp once again.

The party literally is fracturing right now and they can’t run on their usual moral high ground bull shyt after supporting trump and the conservative angle doesn’t work after the tax bill. The GOP gained seats in the House and could win it in 2022. They still control the majority of state legislatures in a Census year which means there will be voter suppression and gerrymandering. They have a comfortable majority in the Supreme Court and Federal courts. Not to mention it’s projected 2040 2/3rds of the US population will be represented by 30% of the senate. The GOP is far from dead and will strike back with a vengeance. Now it’s not the time to underestimate them. They are like Michael Myers. Just when you think you killed them they come back.
