Who's getting the call today.

Poll added, only a maximum of 7 people can get in. 2 are senior members, so only 5 current's can get in

I could only add 10, so i added the 10 best candidates in my opinion.

The 5 i would induct are

Straham (sack record, retired a champion)
Ogden (best OL of his era)
Allen (Same as Ogden)
Haley (only 5 player with 5 rings, a force with the pass rush)
Carter (retired 2nd all time in TD catches, should of been in, politics kept him out)

Just missed the cut

Sapp (First ballot HOF no doubt, but put Haley in his spot because he waited longer)

Reed (Should of been in long ago, WR bias is disgusting)

Brown (same as reed)

Bettis (should get in, in the next 2-3 years)

Shields (will get in, in 2-3 years)

Greene (will have to wait a bit longer)

Yea you're 5 are who I'd select too. But even as a Giant fan, I wouldn't be surprised or pissed if Sapp gets in over Strahan.

In seriousness, I voted Sapp, Strahan, Ogden, Allen, and Shields.

All 5 guys were the best at their position when in their primes, which is not true for any of the other candidates.

That's my five too. I would change Sapp for Carter or Allen but i think they gonna make him wait a year. And Mike was more media friendly. And i know little stuff like that matters in the mind of the voters.

Bill Parcells and Michael Strahan survived the first cut, from 17 finalists to the final 10 for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. #NYG

Tom Reed ‏@treedPD

Multiple sources reporting Art Modell did not make it out of the first round. Same as 2002. No surprise really.

Joe Reedy ‏@joereedy

Not making the cut from 15 to 10 -- Brown, DeBartolo, Greene, Modell, Shields,

Joe Reedy ‏@joereedy

That makes the Final 10 -- Allen, Bettis, Carter, Haley, Ogden, Parcels, Reed, Sapp, Strahan, A.Williams -- It will be cut to 5.

That last spot looks like it'll be between Haley, Parcells, and Carter (Strahan, Sapp, Ogden, and Allen are in, imo)
