My pops (RIP) only reason for us to get HBO on our cable box back in the day was simply for fights

the first big fights i ever saw such as Pernall Whitiker vs De La Hoya....Gatti vs Ward....Kevin Kelley vs Prince Naseem were all on HBO

so many memories.....loved the commentary of Larry Merchant..and Lampley regardless how bias i felt they might have been towards certain fighters......

I'd like to see Lampley and Jones work with Fox.

I don't feel a scintilla of remorse for them. They did it to themselves. They allowed their announcement team to be extremely bias and racist. They mishandled the Mayweather Jr situation and lost millions. That was what jump started their downfall. Floyd helped bring a lot of viewership to SHO. Lampley knew it, which is why he took every opportunity to slander him, even severall years later.

I will miss HBO boxing, but I'm certainly not sad to see them go.
