The Lakers played the Rockets yesterday, are Lakers fans NOT supposed to talk about him when he on the opposing team? Especially when mistakes he made cost his team the game?
I can only speak on myself but I'm not a nikka that stays with Dwight on his mind, posting in every Dwight/Rockets thread, nor do I make threads about Dwight.
I was one of the few Lakers fans that flat out said I wanted Dwight to say but I also said (well before Dwight was traded to the Lakers) that I didn't want ANYONE on the team that didn't want to be here. The majority of Lakers fans on this board wanted to trade Dwight before the deadline and wanted him gone and traded during free agency.
And I'll say again, Lakers fans aren't saying anything about Dwight now that they weren't saying when he was with the Lakers last season. Hell when it came to his FT shooting I was probably the most forgiving, I just hated that he refused to play the pick and roll and half assed in defensively.

Yup, most of the talk in the Lakers thread is about us waiting for Easter, wanting D'Antoni dead, wanting to trade Nash, and going back and forth hating praising Swaggy P.

fukk, that, I'm a Laker fan and I wanted him back because of his defensive presence. I just understood we would have needed another legit superstar to lead the team.

And it was close mostly due to Lakers incompetence. Houston was playing some good defense and points but there were a lot of stupid turnovers due to lazy/over passing by the Lakers.

Perk is like that too but not on the scale of Dwight. They run a post up for Perk early in games all the time when everyone knows it ain't going to amount to anything unless someone tips it in. It isn't on the scale of Dwigt though because at the end of most games Dwight can see he actually scored some points, Dwight just doesn't seem to remember that he is doing most of it based soley off how athletic he is & not his post game.
Bigs in general just want to feel like their contributing to the offense more than just setting screens I guess.

A lot of bigs do know how to score, and those that don't generally focus on rebounding and defense. Dwight is the only dude that INSISTS on being the focus of the offense when he's actually a liability on that side of the court.
I don't see Jokim Noah out there demanding to be fed in the post every other possession.
