What college QB's do you guys have interest in? I feel like Levis, Young & Stroud appear to be the top 3 and will be out of reach because they likely won't finish with a bad enough record to even consider unless they trade up. K.J. Jefferson, Richardson, Uiagalelei & Hooker are a few others. Its time to find a QB and put Ryan out to pasture real soon, but the OL may beat father time to the punch.

Also, Ryan Kelly needs to be gone after the season. Too much money for mediocre play when Pinter came in and played better and has shown he can handle center for far less money. At this rate, Kenny Moore can kick rocks, too. Get a new coach in here as well.

Fam, wtf is Moores problem? He’s a really talented and athletic player but he’s been a total non factor this season.

I honestly don't know, but it started during the last few games of 21' and has continued into this season. Then, he has the audacity demand a new and bigger contract while being as mediocre as ever! He can get it from someone else via cut or trade and they can allocate those resources to another spot on the roster. Facyson is a bigger issue play wise right now, but Rogers should be playing over him anyway.

We need to trade for a WR with Dulin hurt. Not sure why Ballard didn’t try to trade for Anderson, but if he’s not building a rapport with OBJ or calling GMs around the league hes wasting time :unimpressed:

One thing we at least have for the future is the makings of a great pass catching core with Pittman, Pierce, Woods & Granson.

Find a way to beat Tennessee and things will get interesting...
Hell yeah, seeing those players grow is all that matters to me right now. Everything else is gravy. :ahh:

I hope we can still make a move for a QB in the draft someday because these annual slow starts have grown tiring.

What do you guys think of these trade ideas? I like trying to get the RG from Carolina.:patrice:I wouldn't part with those picks for Fields, but maybe for a 3 & 4 if they want Moore they can have him, too.

After the Christian McCaffrey blockbuster trade, what trades could the Colts make?

Carolina Panthers

To start, we need to look at the team we all know is in full fire sale mode, the Carolina Panthers. For the Colts, the two most obvious positions are offensive line and defensive end.

Panthers starting RG Austin Corbett is the first player the Colts should target. He is 27 years old and has a overall PFF grade of 79.5. In comparison, the Colts current starter, Matt Pryor, has struggled over the course of the season at every position and has an overall PFF grade of 47.9. While PFF grades can be unreliable at times, they do seem to match the film on both players. Corbett can immediately come in and solidify the interior of the offensive line. Corbett would likely cost a Day 3 pick to acquire.

The last, and biggest, possible trade target, would be Bears starting QB Justin Fields. Some might laugh at this but it’s clear Matt Eberflus and the Chicago coaching staff aren’t “in love” with Fields. He wasn’t their pick at QB. He has struggled in his development and the offensive coordinator is refusing to build the Bears offensive system around what Fields does best. Fields, among other players, have publicly voiced their opinion of the coaching staff by saying they are “tired of [hearing from the coaches] the Bears [are] ‘almost there’.” That seems like a player that is not “in love” with the franchise either.

It was rumored Chris Ballard liked Fields very much going into the 2021 draft but didn’t think he would slide out of the top 10. With this being a deep quarterback draft class and the Bears being in position to potentially get one of those top QB options, it would make sense to move Fields now to acquire more draft capital and ensure your team free falls into the best draft position. For the Colts, it gives Fields an opportunity to learn the system for a year or so and work on his game so he’s not thrown into a dumpster fire like he was in Chicago. Compensation in this package would probably be multiple Day 2 picks, likely at least a 2023 second and a 2024 third round pick, and possibly a player, again, Kenny Moore makes the most sense here.

I’d love a trade for Fields. I don’t believe in him at all on the Bears but that’s because of the dysfunction mentioned in the article. I think we’d be setting us up for some stability past 2023, which has been sorely lacking ever since Luck left.

Reich, Ballard and Irsay better be sending the best escorts to my boy Luck for the all the bullshyt :beli:

Getting swept by an injured Titans team yet again is the kind of stuff that should get an HC/GM tandem fired. This team is soft. It needs some nasty.

Reich talks all about how important competition is, yet is too scared to pull players when they aren’t doing their jobs well enough.

Y’all heard the same spiel time and time again with Ballard preaching how vital trench play is, and yet the team gets consistently manhandled by opposing lines weekly.

Ballard also mentioned how much it feels like your job is on the line when drafting a QB. Well, not winning is another way to a pink slip.
