I really dont see the need to waterproof these big ass phones unless you're one of those dumbass people who want to get in the pool with your phone just to take pics

Having a waterproof phone and a waterproof Bluetooth speaker has made this summer at the pool live as fukk...switching songs on the fly and having broads show out cause they're you can film them twerking underwater is some player shyt

That and the more mundane everyday shyt like taking the phone in the shower (phone addict shyt, I know) ... it's all kind of whatever though cause iphone users will say it doesn't matter then just go buy a $100 lifeproof case for that functionality at the cost of muffled sound

Its being reported that the second set of speaker grills is not even a fukking speaker I cant even defend or spin this shyt. Whey the fukk would you remove the shyt and not put another speaker in its place? if thats the case just leave the headphone jack

While multiple sources and leaked components have pointed towards iPhone 7 models having dual speakers, which could very well be the case, a new design drawing spotted by French website NWE suggests the additional holes may be purely cosmetic to give the bottom edge a symmetrical design.

The text in the documents refers to the area that occupies the 3.5mm headphone jack on current iPhones as having simply a microphone and microphone mesh, with no mention of a speaker in that location. Most of the secondary holes would be non-functional, except for the one furthest to the right, which would double as a microphone.


The veracity of the photo cannot be confirmed, and the rumor conflicts with some previous reports, but at least one previous iPhone 7 design drawing has depicted the left speaker grille as ornamental. In the photos, the secondary holes are not cut all the way through except for what would be normally be the microphone hole.

It's still a useless feature IMO

Im cool with the person running the grill handling the music while im in the water having fun

I dont need to bring my phone in the water just so i can switch songs or whatever because 9 times outta 10 im not even paying attention to the music playing....its just background noise

Fapping in the shower is definitely the best use of the waterproof feature I've heard so far though

A year old iPhone vs a new flagship android that hasn't even dropped yet and it kills it in the speed test so just imagine how much faster the iPhone 7 will be compared to the Note 7
