That's what I'm thinkin. My bad it's the Moto Z that's out without a headphone jack. It comes with a usb-c to headphone adaptor. I don't think Apple will go that way. I saw an article where they were developing some new kinds Bluetooth technology where the battery lasts much longer or something.

I really don't like the idea of charging my headphones. Also I use the aux cord in my car. At the same time I don't want to be part of the green bubble gang. Damn my 5s for being on its last leg

Yes my car is Bluetooth. But I hate keeping up with Bluetooth headphones and they cost way more than earbuds I beat to death in the gym and commute. I have extremely nice corded over the ear headphones for traveling, multiple pair, hundreds of dollars invested. I'm not finna toss me out the window.

I only get a phone every other year, and since I got the 6s, I'll have no problem waiting til next year. I really hate them taking out the earphone jack. I don't even have bluetooth headphones. and I hate that you cannot charge the phone and listen at the same time. my car doesn't have bluetooth connectivity for the radio, so I need to use the headphones and the charger so I can play music and charge simultaneously.
The headphone jack thing isn't that big of a deal. The phone will most likely include headphones with the Lightning Jack at the end instead of the aux, third party companies will start making different kinds too. (Edit: they actually already exist) The main thing would be aux in the car but an adapter will fix that easily.
