Israeli military says it struck Iranian drone facilities, F-14 fighter jets and radar sites across Iran

From CNN's Dana Karni and Catherine Nicholls
The Israeli military said it carried out strikes on several Iranian military targets at a range of sites across the country Saturday.

The Israel Defense Forces said it had struck drone storage facilities and a weapons facility in the area of Bandar Abbas, in southwestern Iran.

The Israeli Air Force also struck three F-14 fighter jets belonging to the Iranian military in the “heart of Iran” earlier on Saturday, the IDF said. Black and white thermal imaging video of the strikes released by the military appeared to show the F-14s being blown up as they sat parked at an air base it said was in central Iran.

Iran’s air force has American-made F-14 Tomcats that were acquired under the Shah’s regime, which ended in 1979. Iran is the only country still operating the aircraft, which was retired by the US in 2006.

Israel also targeted military radar detection systems and air defense batteries in western Iran Saturday “as part of a broader effort to achieve aerial superiority throughout Iranian airspace,” Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Ephraim Defrin said in an evening news conference.

“This air superiority has enabled us to strike missile command centers, (drone) infrastructure, and to destroy military storage facilities and launch tunnels for rockets and missiles — as well as close the loop on launchers that had fired at Israeli territory,” Defrin said.

EDIT: Oh and he is MAGA? Oh boy :pachaha:

Here's a summary and talking points from the YouTube video:

The video, titled "My last speech before WORLD WAR and A.I. (Everything I didn't say)," features Casey the Car Guy discussing a range of controversial topics and expressing a bleak outlook on the future.
Here are the main talking points:
* The Threat of AI and Government Control [00:20]: The speaker asserts that AI's capacity to flood the internet with misinformation and influence algorithms is "unstoppable," signaling "the end of the era." He highlights a "big beautiful bill" with zero AI regulation for 10 years, which he believes will lead to "full totalitarian surveillance control" by the government [02:20]. He also states that AI is "the absolute embodiment of Satan and evil" and will destroy the human experience [09:00], [15:38].
* Critique of Government and Politics [00:40]: Casey shares observations from "the inside" regarding the nation and government, citing polls from his channel that he believes reveal the presence of "scops in our culture" and the "actual intelligence of people" [00:49]. He questions the authenticity of democracy, suggesting that voting is merely a "shell," a "stage play" [03:18], and posits that the U.S. government may have never truly been "for the people" [10:43].
* Israel and Geopolitical Concerns [01:21]: The speaker discusses Israel's alleged attack on Iran and connects it to past events like 9/11, suggesting they are "false flag attacks" designed to initiate wars and expand government surveillance through measures like the Patriot Act [01:43]. He characterizes Israel as a "teeny tiny nation that was built in the early 20th century because of global bankers" and warns against the U.S. being dragged into a war [04:14]. He also criticizes Europe for allowing in "illegal migrants who are primarily Muslims," seeing it as a way to gain support for Israel by fostering anti-Muslim sentiment in the West [13:19].
* Divisive Social Issues and Manipulation [11:45]: The speaker argues that various social issues, such as racial tensions (George Floyd), LGBTQ+ rights, antisemitism, and immigration, are being used to divide America and push it towards communism [12:08], [18:20]. He claims that "global bankers" profit from nations falling to communism, with "liberal politicians" also benefiting while everyone else suffers [17:54].
* Personal Disillusionment and Call to Action [12:55]: Expressing a sense of resignation, the speaker states he no longer cares about being "canceled" or called names because he believes he has "done it right" and sees no future [12:55]. He laments the state of the world, suggesting that social media and technological advancements have made people "brain dead pawns automatons zombies" [21:30]. Despite his grim outlook, he encourages viewers to "uphold the past, uphold who you are and your values, learn to get along" [32:55], and "stand up for yourself" [34:35]. He concludes by emphasizing the importance of preventing Israel from dragging the U.S. into a war [34:44].

Yeap, this war has clearly fukked up the veil.

Israel pushed too far, too fast. Now the world can't ignore everything going on over there any more. Their people are waking up to the fact that their politicians are puppets of another country.

The irony.:wow:

US intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard comments after scolding by Trump

Reporting from Washington, DC, United States
She just released a statement on X saying that it is the media that is quoting her out of context when, indeed, she did say specifically that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon – back in March.
But she said the difference is that Iran can produce one within weeks, if it so chooses, and she said that she and the president are in agreement that Iran cannot produce a nuclear weapon.
Certainly, Gabbard is representative of that isolationist wing of Trump’s MAGA supporters, and she has been really sidelined out of this conversation as he’s trying to decide whether or not the US should join Israel in directly attacking Iran.

If she had any balls at all then she would quit.

People really need to stop posting and talking up Tucker Carlson like he's some voice of reason. He's not. Just like MTG.

Tucker is the prototype of a MAGA Republican. He's fully aligned with their white nationalist agenda. The only reason he breaks from the rest is because he understands that endless foreign wars undermine the ability to advance fascist goals at home. It's not anti-war on principle; it's a cynical strategy.
No he is not maga republican. maga republicans are radicals. He is a conservative republican tho. And like i said he still aint shyt though.

Who has the authority to approve a US strike on Iran is a point of debate

Reporting from Washington, DC, US
The US Constitution says quite starkly that the US Congress has the authority to declare war.
But in practice, the US has not declared war since World War II.
Of course, there have been numerous US military strikes against foreign actors in the time since issued by presidents of both parties, and Trump certainly is leaning on his presidential power to do the same and avoid having to go to Congress first.
However, that doesn’t mean everyone in Congress is happy about it, particularly Republican Representative Thomas Massie on X, who, noting this circumstance, said, “This is not our war.”
He is the co-crafter of a resolution that would seek to bar Trump from using military action without congressional approval.
Many are seeing, though, that this is unlikely to pass, and even if it does, the authority under which it operates only stipulates that the president needs to consult with Congress.
That consultation can happen after the president authorises a military strike.

Damn, but I'm sure he'll vote Red again.

If he can :lupe:

Though I say we push forward the bill to rename the country to the "United States of Israel."

See how far it gets :mjpls:

You're 100% right, but Trump is a bought and paid for puppet.

He'll hem & haw to act like he's deliberating but he's going to drag us down into this.

Netanyahu likely has dirt on Trump as well.
