Erdogan accuses Israel of ‘insidious’ motives after strikes on Iran

Turkish President Erdogan says Israel attacked Iran with “comprehensive and insidious purposes”.
His comments come after a phone call with President Putin, during which both leaders condemned what they described as an Israeli “act of force” and called for an immediate end to hostilities.
“Both sides expressed the most serious concern about the ongoing escalation of the Iran-Israel conflict, which has already led to a large number of casualties and is fraught with serious long-term consequences for the entire region,” the Kremlin said in a statement following the call.

He been very proactive. They stated he been talking to Rump dumbass for the past three days

I think it actually explains why they decided now. Sentiment and approval ratings already at historic lows so lean into it. Also, this has been in plan if you look at the timeline of events
Doesn't seem smart. They going to be the target for attacks and terrorism for the foreseeable future. Not the best way to encourage people to live/stay there. Only people going to be left are people who just don't have the means to leave which is likely majority Palestinians. They giving up the land while they think they are fighting for it. Amazing.

Honestly, after what we saw happen in Tel Aviv, if he has to do this much convincing and we’re not really responding then I don’t think it’s of utmost priority for Trump.

We saw the Biden administration last year jump at the fact we’re defending Israel as soon as those Iran rockets hit non-civilian targets.

America is honestly unreliable right now as an ally because it constantly flip-flops based on politics and ~200 million inconsistent dummies having the power to vote. Maybe countries will realize that. Reading the replies to that tweet, MAGA voters largely don’t want this war.
You got to stop with this bullshyt talking point of America being an unreliable ally

And 200 million inconsistent dummies?

Man yall got to get off y’all’s high horse cause yall don’t reallly be knowing what the fukk y’all be talkin about

All the displaced Jewish folks going to move to the Western countries who supported their country and get a ride awakening that despite government support all the citizens don't like them. 100 years since WWII and nothing has changed.

How Israel played themselves like this needs to be studied. Sentiments towards the country were low already and then you just attack another country?
Someone rich not sympathetic to Israel needs to start the "Fukk Israel" party in America you would sweep every election.

Yea

But hasn't Iran been funding Hamas and other anti Israel militants for a while now

Wouldn't say it came out of nowhere

Just trying to be objective

US senator introduces bill to curb Trump’s power to go to war with Iran

A prominent Democratic senator has introduced a bill to require President Trump to first seek authorisation from Congress before ordering military strikes against Iran.
The measure, put forward by Virginia Senator Tim Kaine on Monday, came amid growing calls by pro-Israel groups for the US to join the Israeli bombing campaign against Iran as the attacks between the two countries intensify.

Sharp contrast: How Israeli and Western media cover the war on Gaza

Since October 2023, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz has been among a handful of Israeli media outlets to report critically on the genocide in Gaza, unleashed on the besieged enclave by Netanyahu, by calling out war crimes and repeatedly questioning the Israeli government’s motives for prolonging the war.
The reporting and language used by a handful of critical Israeli media outlets stand in stark contrast to how mainstream Western media have portrayed the targeting and suffering of Palestinians and Israel’s conduct on the ground since October 2023, often downplaying Palestinian suffering and justifying Israeli actions.
Pro-Israel bias, disproportionate framing of perspectives, lack of Palestinian voices, and a tendency to echo Israeli government and military narratives have become the norm.

Yeah, but why do it why you are in conflict with Hamas? Practically speaking they are making their own country uninhabitable. I'm sure that's not the goal.

You good breh, you are correct. Both Israel and Iran have been engaging in proxy wars (through 3rd parties) for years now.

The issue with this conflict is that Iran was coming to the table with the US about their Nuclear program in good faith. However, the governing 3rd party body overseeing the program said they (Iran) violated in some way.

Israel (Benny anyway.) said fukk all that, no chances, let's go! And here we are.

Mind you, what I said is a very very simple view, but the world knows that Israel started this particular fight on their own.
