Iran hasn’t been reporting honestly. The IAEA said something about them having no need to increase enrichment to the point they did unless they were going for a weapon.
They had nuclear power running at levels that were sufficient to power the whole country, then they started to have plenty more nuclear activity that was found they didn’t report. The kind of activity regarding the development of nuclear weapons.
So if you’re running your nation fine as is with regards to the power grid, why do you increase your stockpile of highly enriched uranium by 50%? That’s way more than you need.
It sounds like they’ve moved (or it’s already there) that stockpile to their underground nuclear facility which’ll take that 60% to 90%, the yield needed for weapons grade uranium, a process that only takes a few weeks (going from 0.7% to 60% takes years and they’ve already done that).
You combine that with all the nuclear talk surrounding Iran, the fact they’re running operations a mile underground and 99% chance they’re going for the nuclear weapon.
