Israel could not invade Iran even if they wanted to do it. Iran has almost 100 million people. Israel has about 10 million people. As you pointed out Iran's terrain is terrible for invasion and when you consider that and Iran's population that is the main reasons that America has always said nope when it came to Iran. Invading them would be a chore. Not only that, but Iran has been developing their armaments. They are not an easy win, which is why Israel is trying to get America to join that shyt.

Yup. Iran is a pretty big azz country. Similar in size to Alaska (636k sq miles vs 663 sq miles). Israel can fight from distance but they would get their heads handed to them if they actually put boots on the ground and square up.

I really think Israel bit more they can chew at this moment .

They went and attacked a sovereign nation over some colin Powell nuclear weapons ish and prob thought the blowback would be some little drones and some 1980 type of missiles not doing any big damage. You already saw folks on the coli and the internet talking about paper tiger Iran etc.

This ain't Gaza or Lebanon . This is a big country of 90 million people

China using Israel to size up America. Israel finding out those free American weapons aint shyt:wow:

We thank Israel for deporting all those black American Hebrew Israelites. Although who knows if any of this wouldve happened if they didnt. We issued them a fair warning, they refused to listen. Sadly its been downhill image wise, safety wise and as a nation as a whole:respect:
Katz: IDF burning to the ground anything military related in Tehran.

Iran has also asked Bahrain and Oman to ask Washington broker a ceasefire

Sounds like Iran shot its shot and wants to talk and Israel just getting started.

Speaking at a press conference in Tehran, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says if Israeli attacks on his country stop, “our responses will also stop”.

Araghchi made the comment before diplomats in Tehran, his first public appearance since the Israeli strikes began on Friday.

“If the aggression stops, our responses will also stop,” Araghchi said.

Well yeah Israel started it. If someone punch you in the face you're going to punch back if they stop you'll stop as well.

No one wants their cities to burn. Countries like war when they can't be touched at home.

Israel not willing to see US reach nuclear deal with Iran: Araghchi

We have been reporting on the comments from Iran’s foreign minister before diplomats in Tehran.
Araghchi has reaffirmed the country’s stance on nuclear weapons, saying it is “our firm conviction not to possess a nuclear weapon”.
“Yet those who are willing to deprive Iran of our right to possess the nuclear programme for peaceful purposes, they have no right to do so,” he added.
Araghchi said in the now-cancelled sixth round of negotiations with the US that was scheduled for today, Iran was “prepared to provide the necessary assurances to the Americans”.
“[In] the previous round of talks, the Americans presented a number of proposals, which were not totally acceptable to us. We presented our response and our viewpoints, and we were supposed to present a counterproposal. Our proposal could have opened doors for an all-out agreement with the Americans,” he said.
According to Araghchi, Israel opposes diplomatic progress between Iran and the US.
“This is a crystal-clear matter. The Zionist entity is not willing to see us reaching an agreement or a diplomatic solution with the United States,” he added.

What happened to that Iron Dome?

Overwhelmed.

Analysis

Israel’s air defences ‘overwhelmed’ during Iranian attacks

Israel’s missile interception system known as the Iron Dome has shown vulnerabilities over the past three days of fighting with Iran, an analyst says.
“The Iron Dome is not really known to counter such attacks because it is for short-range rockets and missiles. But what we’re seeing are cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and hypersonic missiles coming from Iran,” Muhanad Seloom, from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, explained.
But he noted the Israelis have other types of air defences – Arrow 1 and Arrow 3 – that can launch up to 100km (43 miles) into the sky. The David Sling system can intercept projectiles from between 20km-70km (8-30 miles) in the air.
“They have an integrated system of air defences and it is capable, but it can be overwhelmed and we’ve seen that over the last 48 hours,” Seloom told Al Jazeera.

Trump’s MAGA base ‘up in arms’ after Israel attacks Iran

Reporting from Washington, DC
During US President Trump’s conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he agreed that the conflict between Israel and Iran needs to end as quickly as possible.
But there are two major issues being discussed now in Washington. One is about this Israeli request for the US to get fully involved in offensive operations against Iran, specifically with long-range bombers and bunker-buster bombs to attack the Fordow nuclear complex deep underground.
The White House has let it be known that it is not being considered. But clearly, now there’s a debate about how much it’s saying in public is actually chiming with what’s being said in private.
The second major issue now is the pressure Trump faces. Clearly, the neo-cons in Washington are thrilled by the green light – at the very least – being given to Israel for these attacks.
But the Make America Great Again (MAGA) base is up in arms and letting it be known they are very concerned that Trump is acting no differently than his predecessors, and potentially being strung along by Netanyahu into a Middle East regime-change war.
