Trump's national security team has arrived at the White House ahead of Situation Room meeting ​

US President Donald Trump’s national security team is convening at the White House on Thursday ahead of a scheduled meeting with the president in the Situation Room.

Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and special envoy Steve Witkoff were all seen arriving to the West Wing in the hour ahead of the 11:30 a.m. ET meeting.

Witkoff was seen in the driveway speaking on the phone using AirPods before going inside. Others could have arrived through a different entrance.

The meeting was listed on Trump’s schedule as an “intelligence briefing,” but the Situation Room location suggested the talks would be more sensitive than the typical daily intelligence update that is often conducted in the Oval Office.

Trump has met with his team in the Situation Room each of the last two days.
