Vietnam war was unpopular, the Iraq and afghanistan war was unpopular....but atleast with those they had a storyline like 9/11 and the cold war to get peoples support....if Trump garbage ass decides to help israel it will be over....nobody wants American intervention in iran.

I am also tired of these politicians saying "Netanyahu war"....no bytch, its Israel war....israel is founded on white zionist supremacist ideas.

This is why Trump would torpedo the entire populist GOP platform overnight if he did this. This ain't "support the troops" post 9/11 America. Jimbo in fukking bumfukk Appalachia does not give two shyts about Iran or Israel...even less so if he or his kids had to go die for it.

As someone who's been watching what happened in Gaza under Biden, they wouldn't

Just watch any state department briefing or press briefing.

Anthony Blinken's house had protestors at it 24/7 for 8 months and no one reported on it.

Israel ignored Biden's "red lines" multiple times and the media played it off.

This isn't a partisan issue, the media is equally complicit in hiding the US's role in this.

AmeriKKKa = The United States of lsrael

The media has been intricately used to spread
US-backed lsraeli propaganda to commit the genocide of Palestinians in tandem.

War with Iran is stupid. It would be costly and you’d have to have boots on the ground for any semblance of control that’s a ton of American soldiers and tons of American lives lost. And then now having 90 million Iranians hating your as as well
Yeah, the only way you can get what Israel wants (Iran to end their nuclear enrichment program):
1. Nuke the compound.
2. Ground invasion to stop the compound.

The problem with point 2 is that Israel doesn’t have the ground army to do it so that’s going to require another country’s assistance and if American infantry, Trump is screwed. Either that or Trump will tell them no outright to American foot soldiers.

Iran has been sabotaged so many times they created that underground compound in order to withstand all the crazy ass non-nuclear arsenals you can drop on it. I don’t think there’s a single thing outside of the nuclear option that any other country can do to it from a distance. I can nearly guarantee you that thing can run for a while without needing above ground power. They’ll have to get intimate in ground combat or go nuclear if a country/countries want to take it out.

Drones can’t do enough damage either and most likely tunnel systems too intricate and deep to navigate from distance.

Iranian military targeting Israeli air bases from which attacks on Iran were launched, state-run news says

From CNN’s Nechirvan Mando and Catherine Nicholls
The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted a number of Israeli air bases from which attacks on Iran were launched, according to state-run news agency IRNA.

The strikes on the Israeli air bases were carried out “in response to the Israeli regime’s brazen attacks against the sacred soil of Islamic Iran,” IRNA reported Tuesday, citing an IRGC announcement.

CNN has been unable to independently confirm Iran’s claims.

“We also announce that these operations shall continue in a sustained, complex, multilayered, and gradual fashion,” the IRGC said, according to IRNA.

CNN has reached out to the Israeli military for comment.

Ex-IAEA chief warns Israeli attacks may encourage countries to seek nukes

Mohamed el-Baradei, who won a Nobel Peace Prize as the head of the UN nuclear watchdog in 2005, says Israeli attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities are illegal.

He warned that the assault on Iran “is a sure way to destroy” the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, saying that it “sends a clear message to many countries that their ‘ultimate security’ is to develop nuclear weapons”.

Seeking Iranian regime change through military means "would lead to chaos," Macron says

From CNN’s Catherine Nicholls
French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday cautioned against seeking a change to the Iranian regime through military.

“I believe that the biggest error today is to seek a regime change in Iran through military means, because that would lead to chaos,” Macron told journalists in Kananaskis, Canada, where the G7 is holding its annual summit.

Macron got into hot water with US President Donald Trump on Monday after telling reporters that Trump had left the meeting early to discuss ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Iran.

Macron said France would support a ceasefire, though Trump quickly rejected the notion that he was working toward one.

“Our responsibility is to resume discussions as quickly as possible to restore a framework for addressing the nuclear and ballistic issues. This is what France has consistently done for the past 10 years,” Macron said.

Analysis

Killing Iran’s supreme leader would be ‘unlawful’

Reporting from Washington, DC
Sarah Leah Whitson, a lawyer and director of the US-based rights group DAWN, warns that assassinating Iran’s supreme leader could be a violation of international law.
Trump had said earlier that the US knows Khamenei’s location and he is an “easy target”.
‘At a time when the US is insisting that it’s not in a state of war with Iran, that it is not taking military action against Iran, assassinating the supreme leader would be an unlawful assassination and a grave breach of international law,” Whitson told Al Jazeera.
She added that Trump’s threats risk further escalation of the conflict.
“The possibilities of the continued assault on Iran escalating into not just a broader regional war, but potentially a global war, are extremely high. And so continued belligerence and hostile rhetoric from President Trump is only throwing fuel on the fire.”
