As we reported a short while ago, the Israeli military has said it has detected a new wave of missiles launched from Iran, with defence systems working to intercept the incoming projectiles.
Now, the Times of Israel reports that sirens have been sounded in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba and surrounding towns. A missile has reportedly struck a building in the city, according to the Quds News Network.

i did at first, but then he dropped his classic "two weeks" p*ssying out, meaning he pretty much hopes it's over before then

he wants to look tough by dropping bombs, but i think he sees enough of his base giving him the :camby: over starting another war, where he's kinda shook. and there's far too much uncertainty for him to get involved without knowing he walks away with a win. if he gets involved, and iran shuts down the strait, and he's forced to deploy troops for israel; he looks BAD

Yes most of the crises he goes through is manufactured by him, this one is different, he actually has to make a decision with an uncertain outcome.

No matter what he says he’s going to piss off a segment of his base. The evangelicals, Neo-Cons, pro Israel lobby want him to take out Iran and they have more institutional influence in the Republican Party. The MAGA peasants won’t like the decision to bomb Iran but I don’t think he truly values their opinion since he won’t have to worry about an election again

If only the Dems held Genocide Joe to this kind of account, he might not have supported Net and Yahoo’s genocide and he or Kamala could have won.

It's getting bad in Iran.....Israel is just wiping out most their military installation. These guys are getting set back at least 50 years.
If maintain this bombing campaign for 1 month it will get interesting.

Israeli media confirms ‘direct hit’ in Israel’s Beersheba

Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth news outlet reports that the Beersheba Municipality has confirmed that the Iranian missile attack a short while ago was a “direct hit and not fragments” from a intercepted missile crashing to the ground.
The Channel 12 news site also said the Israeli military has confirmed that the Iranian missile was not intercepted by air defences.
Several people were injured in the attack, the news outlets said.

biden and kamala didn't lose because of palestine, and you'd be a clown to think so. most voters didn't give a fukk about these conflicts as far as an american election

also, where's your accountability for Hamas putting Biden in that position? doesn't exist

UN nuclear watchdog findings are not a basis for military action, organization’s head says

Evidence gathered on Iran’s nuclear program by the International Atomic Energy Agency can “hardly be a basis for any military action,” the organization’s head said Thursday.

“Military action, from wherever it comes, is a political decision that has nothing to do with what we’re saying,” Rafael Grossi told CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

After launching its first wave of strikes on Iran, Israel pointed to a recent IAEA report that acknowledged Iran is enriching uranium to a higher level than other countries without nuclear weapons programs, in violation of its nuclear non-proliferation obligations.

But Grossi told Cooper there was no indication of a “systematic program in Iran to produce a nuclear weapon.”

This week, US President Donald Trump — who has been weighing up American involvement in the conflict — said he thought Iran was “very close” to having a nuclear weapon.

Israel would need US help to take out Iran’s Fordow nuclear site, buried deep in the Iranian mountains, as only the US military has the massive “bunker buster” bombs thought to be capable of effectively striking an underground target at such depths.

Asked by Cooper whether he is concerned about the possible consequences of a US strike on Fordow, Grossi said “diplomacy is the way forward.”

“Physical structures can be destroyed, but you cannot destroy knowledge. You cannot destroy technological advancements, advancements being made in a country,” Grossi said.

In the days after its initial strikes on Iran, the Israel Defense Forces claimed it had “eliminated” nine Iranian nuclear scientists. Iran has acknowledged nuclear scientists were killed by Israel in the attack, without saying how many.

Grossi this week rebuffed Iranian claims the IAEA has presented a “misleading narrative” over its nuclear program and said the organization stood ready to “closely monitor and assess the situation regarding the Israeli attacks on nuclear sites.”

Trump ‘cornered himself’ by following Israel’s agenda

Shahram Akbarzadeh, director of the Middle East Studies Forum at Deakin University in Australia, says Trump has been allowing Israel to dictate US policy towards Iran and the wider region.
“Trump came to office with the promise of extracting the United States from wars in the Middle East, but effectively he has left the decision-making in the Middle East, the policy towards the Middle East, to Israel,” Akbarzadeh told Al Jazeera.
“Trump is simply following Israel’s agenda in relation to Palestine, in relation to Iran – [and] this has put the United States basically hostage to Israeli decision-making.”
Akbarzadeh added, however, that if the European leaders set to meet with Iran’s foreign minister later today come up with a diplomatic solution, “then Trump would favour that”.
“But in the absence of any prospect of a diplomatic solution, I think Trump has very much cornered himself in this situation.”

What are Iran’s red lines?

We have more from Shahram Akbarzadeh, the expert at Australia’s Deakin University.
“Iran has made it clear that it is happy to go along with international inspection regime – a stringent inspection regime – to monitor its nuclear programme. Iran has made it clear that it will not pursue a weaponisation programme,” Akbarzadeh explained.
In exchange, Iran wants sanctions relief, he said. “If the Europeans are able to come up with a solution that respects those red lines, then there is every chance for a diplomatic solution.”
Akbarzadeh added that Iran also cannot be expected to “simply surrender unconditionally in the face of US bullying”.
“This is what the Iranians have called US behaviour, and it very much looks that way; the threat of violence, the threat of killing the Iranian head of state – that is bullying,” he said.
“So you can’t expect them to capitulate … and they will be looking for some kind of compromise, by also saving face.”

Israeli army says it attacked dozens of targets across Tehran overnight

The Israeli military has claimed that more than 60 fighter jets took part in the attacks on the Iranian capital, which it said used approximately 120 munitions.
The army also said it struck “several industrial sites for missile production” in the Tehran area.
As we’ve been reporting, Israel’s attacks across Iran over the past several days have killed hundreds of people.
