For those with 'Unlimited PTO' when is it capped? And can you take more than 2 weeks in a row?

Stock options: Can you sell after a year or only when IPO'd?

Are you given a travel and lunch allowance, if Hybrid?

Any cool perks like Every last Friday off (seen this for some companies on certain job boards)?

Ass in answers and questions.

at a start up I had unlimited PTO but I never used it like that, also had WFH options...this was like 10 years ago
Seems the norm for tech jobs even we'll outside startup mode. My current job has a cap (use it or lose it) but when checking Indeed, Glassdoor and other job boards...this is the rule not the exception.
I'm not that guy.

If you're scared, say your scared.

Are you looking for generalized knowledge? This tends to vary not only by industry, but by company.
General; they are specific to each company; example, there's a company called Kalderos that specializes in Pharna and they have crazy benefits like below:

  • Unlimited PTO with a 10 day minimum
  • 24 company holidays, including closures for 1 week in the summer and 1 week in the winter
  • Opportunity for growth
  • Annual continuing education stipend
  • Donation matching for charitable contributions
  • Bi-annual celebration stipend to spend on celebrating personal or professional wins
  • Travel reimbursement for healthcare services not available near your home
  • Doordash DashPass subscription with some company-provided lunches

Information Session: Healthcare Finance and Operations Training Program

Prepare for an entry-level position with large healthcare providers in the field of Healthcare Finance and Operations. This free 6-month, hands-on job training program, taught by experts in the field, does not require previous healthcare or finance experience.

Formerly known as the "Medical Billing Specialist Training Program", the "Healthcare Finance & Operations Training Program" will provide the same quality training while expanding potential employment horizons within the Finance and Operations departments of healthcare hospitals / companies.

What to expect during an Information Session.

To be best prepared for attending an information session, please see the items below:

  1. Information Sessions will be in-person in the evenings at 6 PM. Please do your best to arrive on time as you will miss a lot of information if you arrive late and may potentially be turned away to come back another day, contingent upon availability.
  2. All information sessions are on specific days. Please make sure to attend the information session you register for and do not sign up for multiple information sessions. You only need to attend one information session.
  3. Information Sessions will run as long as two hours. The first hour will be the informational portion along with Q & A, and the second hour will be for filling out an application and typing an essay that is up to 500 words.
  4. You do not have to stay after the informational portion of the session if you are not filling out an application. If you are interested in filling out an application, you must attend the first hour of the information session. You cannot just arrive for the application.
  5. You cannot fill out an application outside of an information session and the prompt for the essay will only be given on the same night as the information session you attend.

If you are unable to register for an information session, that means the session has reached its capacity and you must wait for a future session to open. Please check back weekly for any future sessions to be posted.

Please understand that this is a first come first serve basis and seating is limited. Registering for an information session is not an automated process so please give at least two business days before receiving a confirmation email.

Depending on the timeframe you register for an information session, you will receive an email up to 24 hours before the event with the room information on where the event will take place on the LaGuardia Community College Campus.
