At first, I wasn't sold on the idea of the makeup, but it's grown on me. It fits in with the spirit of "Elseworlds" stories, as that's always been where DC has tried different looks and experimented with different ideas and takes.
Sidebar: the information rollout for DC films has been all over the place. With Aquaman and Shazam, we got basically nothing besides a few set photos until their trailers hit. On the flip, Patty Jenkins couldn't wait to put shyt out there for Wonder Woman, and here we got test footage and on set film when the movie is a whole year away. Birds of Prey is either gonna be locked down like Fort Knox or we'll have a complete synopsis in the first week of filming.
