it was pretty good. 8/10. cinematography keeps it from being a 7
this could have been great if the writing were better, but as it stands its a bit too predictable and on the nose.
that scene when he bodied that fat nicca in his apartment was brazy tho. it went from legit scary (joaquin looked hella creepy with that white face paint) to hilarious when the mini cac was trying to escape

Took a broad to see this yesterday. we both thought it was marginal as fukk. I can't stare at a gruesome CAC for 2 hours while he overacts and pretend it's high art.
This wasn't for me, I just couldn't relate to the character and his backstory if this wasn't a movie about the Joker I would have turned it of within 30 minutes.
It reminded me of Requiem for a dream same depressive feeling of emptiness once I finished watching this to a lesser extent but both just awful movies in my opinion.

...id much rather it be a vat of crazy juice that makes him crazy than just some boohoo cac sob story made him a killer. Which is why I liked DeNiro shytting on him. Damn shame zazie beets out here being a useless prop. The fukk u even cast her for 
and yuck at my dude Bruce letting a rando grown man put his fingers in his mouth. Bruce from Gotham would nvr 
....I wont say it’s a bad movie, it was a tad boring with a script that was too open ended for me but I still give it a 7 just for some of the fukkery. I wish I would see u nikkas doing interpretive dance in the middle of the street
