There's just so much more diversity and shades of black characters with their own background without the bytchass fans. This is why the watchmen documentary has so much truth in comparing DC in the 50s to birth of a nation.
Granted, Marvel came out in the 60s and took a liberal approach riding the fence of racism by sharing stories of segregation with the mutants, DC almost started off as alt right.
