You’re right, but the general populace don’t see it that way. In mainstream eyes Justice League = DCEU. Most people still regard Nolan’s Batman trilogy as part of the DCEU as well even though it’s not.

Sad as it is to say, most DCEU movies in the last 10 years haven’t received overwhelming positive ratings. It’s hanging by a thread at this point. To this day, I don’t understand how you can make a mediocre movie with comic book heavyweights like Superman, Batman, The Flash etc. on screen but it is what it is. After the flop that WW1984 was, this Snyder Cut film will be the make it or break it going forward
