is there any way he doesn't get criticism for his choice, whatever it ends up being?
If he stays, he's wasting his prime by going back to a situation that clearly hasn't worked out and the prospects don't appear much better anytime soon.
If he leaves, he's abandoning his team, the fanbase, chasing money, and depending on where he ends up looking for an easier way to get to the finals/finally get a ring.
I just don't see how he makes it through free agency without taking a hit in some form or fashion, I think it's time for KD to make the full heel turn.

You say this like the Thunder are a bunch of 30 year olds around him. Outside of 4 guys (2 of them probably won't be back next season) it's mostly a bunch of young guys that will keep improving. Adams, Kanter, Robes, & Waiters are all 24 & younger & Payne will get time next season. Donovan will get better in year 2. If KD & Russy don't have terrible shooting nights at the same time in game 6 they would have beat the Warriors.
