It's actually one of the better comic book shows and does something different than the CW or Netflix shows. Visually it's already on a different level than any of those, but if you're not interested it just might not be for you . First season is only 8 episodes too.

They could've in season 1 but chose not to. He'd have to know who Xavier is to say his name though....keep in mind he doesn't know who his father is.
