I seem to remember you liking Black Panther? Where the best fighter was a woman and the smartest was a black girl. One of the hetero leads died for being militant and the hero got saved by two black women.

And the smart black ancestors were wrong and unproductive to Wakanda and only by ignoring them did he do better.

BP was 100% better written but just looking at everything as an agenda checklist seems wrought with contradictions.

I don't mind the protection and exaltation of Black women women but I felt it was generally done at the expense of their male counterparts and it became more apparent over the course of the show. Shame because the first half of the season was brilliant.

This was easily the biggest letdown of the year for me Tv wise. A shame the first episode was so good too. Unless it’s an Anthology series like Fargo or American Horror Story this definitely doesn’t need to come back imo.
