You gotta play it like real football.

Again. In real life, he was shytting on teams defense by the week

So how do you beat that? Keep them off the field. Slow down your pace. Win on time of possession.

What's the weakness of the Giants offense? QB and oline

Manning is an 81. The LT is a 76. The RG is a 73. The RT is a 70

So blitz on the right side all fukking day. Eli also got a carry rating of a fukking 51. So he's going to fumble all day long. That or throw ints

As for covering odb.... If you are rushing on those weak ass lineman, Eli is going to be throwing the football out fast. On quick routes you want to jam the wr. That'll make him take a few extra seconds to get open, while you hitting Eli who doesn't have time to wait for that

Keep your safety over top in case they pick up the blitz and that jamming leaves you wide open deep. But manning deep throw is only 83 so that should be inaccurate too

That's what I mean when I say play it for real. shyt you got plays where you can pull the coverage to one side. The entire coverage.

But yes you have to game plan. You got to see what lineups he's running before you pick your defense. You gotta scroll through player ratings on the other team and see what weakness to exploit.

That's why they let you view their formation and depth charts. Cause in real life you'd see that info too. And you'd plan for it. And you'd spend a week trying to stop that.

And after all that planning. He'd still be second in the league. If they ain't stopping him in real life..... Well
:what: this is madden we are talking about?

How do you plan for Aggressive catch being Overpowered, legacy AI issues and the WR outrunning people no matter the coverage

nikka i just told you

jam him... put the safety over the top... move your coverage to his side of the field.... WHILE blitzing on their 70 rated, weak ass right side of the lie, to their slow, inaccurate, fumbling 81 rated qb

use the 49ers and tell me how overpowered that aggressive catch is... he's the 3rd best receiver in the game... he has the most receiver yards in his first 4 years than ANY receiver in nfl HISTORY... is he supposed to be just the same as every other receiver in the game?

Y'all bytch too much. Your wr is going to drop open passes if he has the trait. And if you getting beat by one wr you should be usering it yourself and getting the stop, because it's clear he wasn't throwing to anyone else. Let me find out nikkas is usering that d line :mjlol: and homie who talked about game planning is 100 percent right. Game ain't perfect, but it's way better than last year.

Lol @ people trying to justify a 5'11 receiver making aggressive catches in double coverage, something he never does in real life.
i'm starting to realize why a lot of people bytch about madden... cause you really just sportscenter sports watchers and have no clue about real football

NEVER RIGHT?

There's a misguided sense among a segment of amateur analysts and fantasy footballers that 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year Odell Beckham is susceptible to a sophomore slump with defenses prepared to send double teams in waves this season.

The uncoverable New York Giants wideout has a message for those defenses: Bring it.

"I definitely expect to receive a lot more attention," Beckham said Wednesday, via NJ.com's Jordan Raanan. "But it's just not going to work."

Opposing defenses started double-teaming Beckham late last season, just as offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo got creative, moving the game's most dangerous wide receiver around the formation.

The result: The Giants averaged 29.2 points per game over the final six weeks of the season.

Beckham's 606 yards in December were the most by any rookie in one calendar month. With multiple defensive backs trying in vain to contain Beckham, Rueben Randle exploded for 12 receptions and 290 yards in the final two games.

nikkas put the double team on him and he went ahead and broke the rookie record for yards in a month at the same damn time.... NEVER tho right? :mjlol:

nikkas doubled him all last year and he had 96 catches for 1450 yards... bu i guess the entire nfl was just single covering him on all 96 catches right :russ:

so what did i tell these fools to do?? press cover him with a safety over top.... you know who agrees with that? the real nfl coaches and players.... you know what defense has worked best against the real life ODB??? press coverage.... you know what his strength rating is?? 49.... which means you can push him off his route while blitzing the qb

but i'll let the experts tell you.......

After Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took the NFL by storm in only 12 games as a rookie, he appeared on NBCSN’s Pro Football Talk with former college teammate (and current Cardinals standout) Tyrann Mathieu. Asked how to stop Beckham, Mathieu said, “I think somebody in his face the entire game, it’ll probably give him some trouble.”

Said Beckham with a smile, “It’s true. It’s true.”

In Week Two of the preseason, the Jaguars seemed to be intent on getting in Beckham’s face at the line of scrimmage — and everywhere else on the field. Receiver Victor Cruz claims, via Jordan Raanan of NJ.com, that some of the Jacksonville defensive backs were “gunning for” Beckham.

The Rams got extra physical with Beckham last year, and Cruz has advised the Madden cover athlete that he should “expect it every week” in 2015.

It’s one thing to expect it. It’s another thing to still make plays when it happens. Beckham isn’t a very big guy, which could make it harder for him to be consistently fighting to get open and then to catch passes without being hit hard.

Man I'm terrible at kicking. I miss about 1 extra point a game right now :mjcry:

You miss the last button press by just a little and it's wide right/left

post the video of OBJ making an aggressive catch against two players or shut your bytch ass up. shouldn't be too hard to find since he does it all the time. damn giants stans
So you didn't read where I posted his stats in double coverage but now you want me to scroll through 15 games of footage to find when he caught the ball in double coverage?

nikka please.

I said aggressive catch in double coverage, read dumb nikka. Like in the game where there is a receiver mossing two defenders. I aint talking about a receiver merely catching a ball covered by a corner with safety help on the top. Seen Dez do it, seen calvin, julio do it. OBJ, nah. But year in and year out its always the cats that never even put on pads pretending to be an authority in here :heh:

Btw I'm not knocking the game so I dont want any cheerleaders tagging in on this. @CrimsonTider made a comment and I happen to agree with him. It aint about stats, it's about the realistic playmaking ability. OBJ can ball, OBJ puts up numbers, that wasnt the discussion. He just isn't making catches like this over multiple defenders like how they allow any "star" receiver do in the game

So Cal
i always find it weird when people say things like this.. it's like you don't know what you want in a video game

Odell was either the #1 or #2 receiver IN THE LEAGUE last year... i'm pretty sure that's because he was killing nikkas game in and game out.... and when the defense tried to double him, keep a man over top, do whatever the fukk they could..... they STILL couldn't stop him

now they put that exact thing in the game.... "b-b-b-b-b-b-but he's unstoppable" well no shyt... he was unstoppable in real life

reminds me of 2k and curry... "b-b-b-b-b-b-b-but nikkas is just running up the court and launching 3s and he's making them with 2 hands in his face"

ummmmmm isnt that exactly how he won the mvp and 73 games? isn't that real life?

now when you throwing it up to Bruce Ellington and he's beasting.... well then i'll take it as a mistake
The shyt is unrealistic breh. the shyt happens in real life, but not at the rate it does on this game. I'm speaking from both sides too, offense and defense.
