This narrative about playing defense is more fun is bull. It feels the same controlling players. The AI is much improved, but the control of the players is the same. It is so crazy every media outlet is saying that sh1t " it's fun to play d now" I know it sound like I'm madden bashing, but this the 1st madden with a B- in terms of overall gameplay. This whole D is more fun now needs to stop.

Huh? The day defense does what it suppose to do, that why its more fun to play wit, where u put the defense is where they will be and make the play is u put them in the right position.

I'm not slighting the D. It just feel the same when u r controlling the players. It's no difference at all to me. But finally on this year I can put more trust in a lock down corner. The AI is much better, but the way the players control are the same on D besides that D-line mini game which is just a simplified button presses.

Now that this game is settling in i'm noticing more flaws brehs. Most notably...

Not being able to fully control the RB, defenders not reacting to the play and Robo QBs

shyt is annoying

I havent bought Madden since the Drew Brees covers. its been horrid for me, I need an HONEST opinion. is this game worth 60?

I say yes. Plays a good game of football. Keep in mind it's still Madden. You may have to enforce house rules when playing the AI. That's up to you. But as my first Madden purchase since Madden 12 I can say without a doubt the game I honestly fun. And at the end of the day, fun is most important.

I see the game being even better after a patch. So if want the game but can hold off a couple weeks, you might be able to snatch up an improved version of the game for a few bucks cheaper.

I think defense against the human is nonexistent but versus the CPU it is realistic.

All people have to do is run outside receiver routes or 4 or 5 receiver sets and it is a wrap because mostly all DBS are rated lower than 2nd string receivers.

this is true. run game is slippery but not holding turbo helps
