There are, but there aren't any that have that combination of length and shooting ability.


If he comes out and teams get a close look at his shooting ability in combination with the size/length he'll go higher than a lot of people expect.

1. He's still 6'9''. He'll be viewed as a 4.

2. He's going up against guys like Ellenson, Bender, Davis from Mich. St (and considering how invisible he was he may take a hit too), Rabb, shyt, Sabonis, he should just wait a year. He's just not a lottery pick to me (granted Skal shouldn't be either, but they find a sucker every year)

Measured 6'10.5" at USA basketball, a 9'4" standing reach and 7'5.5" wingspan puts him in center class right now, considering his age he's still probably growing. Like @labelplant pointed out, he most closely resembles Myles Turner in regards to length/shooting ability.

I'm just saying if he gets in the workouts and shows off the shooting touch, someone will jump.

we seen him at UK already with loaded teams lose in the tournament not to mention Cal has virtually owned him 1-8 knocked him out the tourney twice.

He's not gonna be viewed as that though. He'll just be viewed as a 4 with exceptional length. Don't compare him to Turner because Turner's appeal was that he was 7 feet tall doing what he was doing. Not to mention, Turner adding 25-30 pounds wouldn't impact his game. It might do that to Bryant at his size. That's like drafting Tyler Ulis in the lottery and hoping he grows 4 inches in 2 years

Pitino won a National Championship at Kentucky & went to Louisville & won another..Between those loaded Memphis teams (D Rose,CDR) & now with Kentucky he has one National Title
He's still a good coach but i just think Pitino is better
