yea, WVU and UL came later but UConn and Cuse was a big hit. 5 titles and countless Four's between them, and 2 legendary coaches. Calhoun was already gone but to lose a program like UConn and see them win the title in the first year of the AAC is a killer. they brought on some nice programs as replacments, but its not the same.
if 2 of SJU/SH and Georgetown can get going again its on but only Seton Hall is breaking out of it atm. Marquette is solid but hasnt been consistent lately
can't complain when 70 percent of the conference gets in the tournament. The Uconn relationship seems irreparably broken. Uconn wants to really be in the ACC and the Big East doesn't trust them
sad all around.
