Theres a possibility, but he's not a "star" at the next level, and wherever he lands won't run plays for him like at Duke. I'm also not sure he can take guys off the dribble at the next level, but in college, he can't be stopped.
THIS. i've been saying it for awhile, but alot of his offense comes from what is being served to him off penetration or plays ran for him (notably curls at the key). He can't create much off the bounce or get by anyone at the college level. He'll get locked up on the perimeter at the NBA level. He's great spotting up or hitting 3's off broken plays or fast breaks, but he can't create off the bounce + has lack of explosion/athleticism. He's a better ball handler in general than allen, yet allen can get by his man and into the lane at will without much effort. He's gonna have to be a korver type player in the nba. He's perfect next to someone who can penetrate (which is why he shoots so well when playing with allen and jackson), but if he was the primary guy like allen was last year w/o much help? he wouldn't be anywhere near as successful as he has been. It's not an accident that he plays worse next to matt jones as compred to when he's with allen +- jackson. this is the backcourt K needs to go with and was our most successful at the beginning of the season when all the other frosh were injured --> jackson, allen, kennard, tatum (in place of jones), jefferson.
