That's their identity though. Hard for them to be something they're not. They're not an air it out type team. They may have some success with the pass, but they are gonna have to run to win this game. Just because it isn't successful early doesn't mean they abandon it.

Stanford lacks the prototypical All American TE that we have every year

This doesn't allow us to dominate the center field

It messes up our play-action off of bunch/heavy formations

I dont think that lining up two tight ends and telegraphing run with a fullback is going to be the way to seize momentum in this game. Stanford sees that in practice every day....and their 3-4 defense is designed to shut down running.
