Now it's a game....I was worried for those Spartan boys....doesn't look like it will be a blowout now.
That's their identity though. Hard for them to be something they're not. They're not an air it out type team. They may have some success with the pass, but they are gonna have to run to win this game. Just because it isn't successful early doesn't mean they abandon it.MSUs gameplan is trash so far
dont try to wear stanford down, quit lining up in I-formation

That's the thing though, they counting on being able to score here and there and having their defense do the job of keeping the opposition from scoring a bunch. State plays old school ball control, field position football.I dont think that lining up two tight ends and telegraphing run with a fullback is going to be the way to seize momentum in this game. Stanford sees that in practice every day....and their 3-4 defense is designed to shut down running.
sure MSU is gon score on a 10 - play drive here and there, but they should try airing it out
@ the Rose Bowl thread not even doing numbersThat's the thing though, they counting on being able to score here and there and having their defense do the job of keeping the opposition from scoring a bunch. State plays old school ball control, field position football.
Well other than that first drive Stanford ain't setting the world on fire offensively, and State got em pinned inside their 5 now.And that was working great against less talented teams in the big 10, but when you're playing against teams that are your equal in talent....
