I was interested in picking up a surface pro since I need a windows laptop but don't know how I feel about moving away from the traditional form factor to a tablet. plus at half the price I can still grab something powerful.

You can sideload android apps if that's your concern.

Who knows...they might be able to put androind on the phone too, they recently filed a patent to multiboot phones
