It's crazy to think about why so many eagle fans had been having vick vs foles debates or vick vs barkley etc... If vick could stay healthy they never would've saw the field. Again he cant be depended on. I'm a firm believer in judging a person through adversity & vick overcame a lot & righted a lot of wrongs.

I'm also a firm believer in judging what I see. And with vick I see a guy who was overrated & underachieved his entire career. Instead of studying the playbook in atlanta & becoming a great QB, he was blowing money, giving women herpes, & fighting dogs.

Since he's been eagle, he has declined every year. Also @33 he's the oldest guy on the team & the supposed leader, but when things are going bad, he has his head down with no confidence. Even chip called him out on it against denver. He cant slide & he cant fully understand blitz packages.

i hope he paid off his debt and has enough in his retirement fund...considering an athlete retires about 25-30 years before the average age of retirment at 65 they need at least 40 million in that account to somewhat live the way they used too or at least be able to withdraw a million a year for living costs. for the rest of their life and thats only considering they retire at 40 and die at 80 retire younger and live longer more like 50-60 million in the IRA..unless they get a sportscaster gig
