very good ep. 2. very creative writing. it's right up there with Loki and the early Wandavision episodes.

As someone not familiar with the comics, I'm still not entirely sure how the whole multiple personality things is working. At least from Steven's vantage point, but I'm fine taking the journey with the character . Ep 2 did shed more light on that aspect. Glad they introduced Layla to give Steven someone to play off at least.

The comedic bits/physical comedy has been the best aspect so far, compared to any of the action.

Suit transformation and styles look cool
Steven/Marc interactions still funny


I know why I’m not fully connecting with this show. I’m just watching stuff play out. Don’t need a world ending plot but I kind of need someone to root for.

He’s protecting Layla but I don’t know anything about her to care.

Steven doesn’t know what is going on and doesn’t want this.

Arthur is the villain but his motivation is vague still but the avatar status is interesting.

The moon god is kind of a dikk so far.
