To be fair, Scarface had come out two years earlier, and had already been referenced by Rafa last year.
Even in the the movie Scarface, Michelle Pfeiffer says her lines as if she was just repeating a well known expression.

So the character is an anachronism, but not really the quote.

Yeah, Diego Luna is very good at his craft. I remember him as Tenoch from "Y Tu Mama Tambien" directed by Alfonso Cuaron, years ago with Gael Garcia Bernal.

There’s actually an interview with Felix and in it El Mayo’s name is mentioned and he said he’s not familiar with who he is.
