I think its because Nas doesn’t really do press anymore that there’s an inherent bias from this new aged media. Even on Nasir Nas is telling these bloggers and journalists to basically kiss his ass. The only interview he’s done since Nasir dropped was with Angie Martinez.

These bloggers and so called music critics want to be coddled and have the artists be their best friends and shyt. Nas’s manager told Elliot Wilson that Nas would NEVER fukk with him again after he gossiped and leaking information about Nas’s divorce and Elliot responded by dissing Distant Relatives and calling it “the most disappointing album of the year”

Same thing with Vlad. Salaam Remi told Vlad straight up “Nas don’t give a fukk what you think”. And Vlad CONTINUES to run the “Nas picks bad beats” bullshyt into the ground.


Even when he vented about the Kelis situation. He didn’t turn to a magazine or blogger. He went on his OWN instagram page. Nas doesn’t give headlines to any of these muthafukkas so I KNOW they gotta feel a way

As a Stan I'm salty to I didn't like Nasir at all.But still support Goat at concerts always anticipating the next project

Same here, he's still the Goat but the album was underwhelming for me and the visuals 2-3 months late imo...

Hopefully he'll be in his bag next album

Met the gawd at Sole DXB Dubai yesterday and hes performing today

breifly took a pic while he was being rushed out



He had a Q&A with Bobbitto, actually on point, he was chill and sober and giving good answers. Actually gave a great answer about SJWs and outraged society

Even spit a Kool G Rap verse with Bobbitto

He talked about the Rakim song and how Rakim was upset at first but Ra reached out couple of years later to clarify there was no heat. He did a hilarious impersonation of Rakim in that interview where he said he didnt feel and then met him


And I hit up Sweet Chick, the restaurant pop up is dope, their Chicken and Waffles are dope and their music selection is fire at the DJ set. But for real they got dope Chicken

The staff all flew out from the Brooklyn restaurant and my waiter said his girlfriend was on the crew for the Nasir film



Also met Mos Def (who was just walking around but didnt take pics which I respect and understood but got to chat for a bit with him good peoples), Roxane Shante (Awesome in person), DJ Clark Kent, Chi Modu Stretch and Bobbitto and Joey Badass
And I met John Seymour (Sweet Chick founder) and Peter Bittender from Mass Appeal.

Nas said in his Q&A he was bringing Sweet Chick to Dubai next year and I asked John afterwards and he was like "Actually we're thinking bout it, Nas kinda jumped the gun"


Oh and if you Wrestling fan I randomly bumped into Sasha Banks at one of the afterparties ASAP Rocky was performing
No one recognised her outside but me
