he gave it to ras first (but before that it was for nas and he passed on it ) and ras recorded home sweet home but didn't do nothing with the track so alc gave it to jada and the rest is history, but ras was salty about it.

well when you have a banger in your hands don't sleep on it or someone bigger can snatch it, the game is the game and if we keepin it real, the lox blessed the beat way better

this is incorrect. nas and az recorded an album worth of material between stillmatic and streets disciple.

@Piff Perkins did you read the part in that Alchemist interview when he talks about Book of Rhymes? That was dope as fukk lol. He said he didn't really even understand the concept until it was finished and he was like . Probably why Nas was asking why he was laughing.
