If being honest I imagine lot of people liking his verse ain’t really been checking Nas’ recent stuff. Clipse and Nas have similar fans but there’s also lot of Kanye loving type Pusha T fans. You know the type. So to us we know they verse just solid for Nas’ standards of late but for those who didn’t check the Hit Boy series much, this fire. Which shows how great Nas is, he just needs more people to check it

I hope Nas/ Premo do a press run like Clipse have. Even ignoring the Travis stuff, if you get out there in the necessary platforms you can make a good buzz. And Nas and Premo album can defo get a buzz with good promotion

I wonder if they scrapped the original verse, because there were rumors since the album was announced that Nas’s verse was a verse of the yr contender and the verse we got is far from it. Good, but i wanted something more.

It felt like an add on though, would have maybe preferred the song to sound more cohesive (subject matter wise)

Some Nas fans are just confused. Never fully satisfied, overly critical (when there is no need to be) and just downright exhausting.

It didn't fit the album to me. And it feels like we've gotten the "I started the vet rap wave and won a Grammy and I'm so big [insert size comparison]" bars for awhile. It just didn't stand out on an album full of standout verses.

Also we know Push has been trying to get a Nas verse for awhile and that mixed with not getting a Jay verse KINDA makes me think they don't really fukk with this. I'm sure they think the bars are dope, Clipse can rap etc but I just don't think either is in a head space to really care about drug raps right now. Same reason Griselda still can't get a verse from Jay or Nas. Not saying the album is entirely about coke rap, it's clearly not. But still.

How many times did you hear Nas mention the bolded bars you claim he has given for a while?
