In celebration of the 20th anniversary, ive had illmatic on repeat for the past two days. I cant emphasise enough how incredible ny state mind is. You can feel the early 90s danger so much, im afraid to go outside just incase I woke up in the wrong decade The tension toward the end of the song is unreal . It may well be the greatest hiphop song of all time, like the message (furious five) on steroids
