Getting a little over anxious now. Nas, theoretically, should have been cooking up music for a couple of years now. Obviously some of his stuff went to the Get Down, some features and more probably to the Street Dreams project. But do you guys seriously think we will get a new Nas album this year?

What's the estimated date for the Street Dreams pilot? Later this year? Will be waiting until closer to that date for an album to drop? How are y'all gonna feel if we don't get a Nas album this year? The Street Dreams project is gonna be dope, no doubt, but it's a long wait until it is complete and airs and is his project sufficient enough to prolong your wait for another Nas album?

The Lost Tapes 2 and Mass Appeal compilation with a new Nas track all seem to be on hold indefinitely.

Now Nas has a new studio. Might this mean that he could be scrapping the most recently made material and starting the album over again? I know they said they are almost done.

Just trying to spark conversation. Thoughts?

I think he drops this year. In the next couple weeks/months we're gonna get him and Ross on Ross new joint and he got a new joint with Khaled too
He needs that motivation to make music. He's an artist like that

Damn, have you heard more info that Lost Tapes 2 is being put off even longer?
I was pretty optimistic once I read this interview where Nas said it's done and ready for release on his new label:
