I know a lotta people were kinda cold on Nas around 2000-2001 but he was definitely still dropping heat. You could feel the fukking hunger in this

He was in the seed round of funding for Casper too. Making friends with those Silicon Valley types is paying off for him... sucks for us tho bc his next album is entering detox territory.

I just think Nas doesn't care to drop. Why really do an album, market it, interview and all the industry shyt just for it to come out and be forgotten in 3 weeks.

Nas taking up all his time tryna promote that Streets Disciple movie, that he has no time to promote the album. But once the movie is about to release, that's when the album promotion would come. God Son know what he doing

Idk of it was posted and apologies for no link but just YouTube "nas talks latest tech investments" it was about a year ago but they ask him about the music and he basically explained it all. Said he's been working on the album for a long time. He goes in. Time passes. And by the time he gets back to it that sound has already came and went. So I think the "problem is that he has his time invested into this tech thing for now but he says the wait is good because the music comes naturally..we'll just have to see if he drops again or not. We may never see a nas album again who knows
