Yo if yall don't stop just saying "Masterclass" and actually tell us wtf Masterclass is...lol.

It's a subscription website where famous creators/artists/directors/musicians/etc. break down their process of creating with videos, lessons, etc. Lots of big names have done it, Scorsese, Spike, James Cameron, Sam Jackson, Herbie Hancock to name a few...

At 26:14 Rza talks about Nas for a few minutes. More or less calls him the greatest lyricist. Calls him the Bobby Fischer of rap. Says that Nas was already a master lyricist at 15 years old. Says Nas has a way of putting a great amount of information in a small phrase.

Damn I always thought RZA met Nas around the time Ghost and Rae did in 95. I wish he would have expanded on that story of meeting Nas when he was 15 and the circumstances behind it.

I know a bunch of rappers used to travel from borough to borough battling each other but i’ve never heard of Nas battling anyone outside of Queensbridge.

Yeah, I wanted to hear more of that story too. Not hard to believe though, because the time period he's talking about (1990?) was only a couple years prior to Nas dropping Halftime, and only like one year before Live at the BBQ. Around that time wouldn't Nas have been hanging in the studio with Eric B and them?
