Scram Jones is pretty tied in with NY rap shyt in general, just because he doesn't have a direct connection to Nas doesn't mean we should doubt him here.

On Reddit there’s a screen shot of comment by Scram Jones on IG saying this isn’t a Jim diss. Was recorded before all that stuff. So was reason it was taken off as would be misinterpreted and I guess likely also because Young Noble died

To Scram defense he's definitely close with Rae. I think he's his DJ or was at one point. It's not farfetched to think he would have inside info pertaining to a Rae album.
